JOEY'S STORY
My name is JOEY BENNER. I’m 42 years old. I was 27 when I first got sick new year's day of 2005 woke up with a severe headache an neck pain I was taking 20-25 Advil a day just to function and work.
I was a well driller after 18 days of putting up with the pain I had enough and asked my parents to take to the hospital and after MANY tests they determined I had Meningitis.
I had 3 bouts of Meningitis bacterial, viral and bacterial again 3 brain surgeries, I have 4 brain shunts that drain the brain fluid into my stomach a mass on brain that is still there it was inoperable, 7 spinal tap ,2 feeding tubes, pneumonia, a stroke and had to relearn how to do everything. Couldn't drive for 7.5 years couldn't walk went from a wheelchair to a walker now use a cane. I lost most of my voice, balance and agility. My final diagnosis was I probably may not walk again.
“My friends feeling bountiful love for me said you’re going on a moose hunt with us to 2G Outfitters in NEWFOUNDLAND.” What a hunt the love caring and kindness from this outfitter and his staff was as though GOD directed them take my son he’s special. I spent most of free time dealing with incarnated individuals to help make a difference for them.
Well here I am not supposed to walk again and guess what I SHOT A MOOSE. THANKS TO GOD, FRIENDS AND 2 G DREAMS CAN COME TRUE, PRAISE GOD. Looking for moose 2g IS WHERE IT’S HAPPENING.
Everything was a dream the ferry, the people, society the guide, the cook. PINCH ME DID THIS HAPPEN. And THEY SAID I PROBALY COULDN’T WALK 15 YEARS AGO. I shot a cow moose and couldn’t wait to lay on him and hug. OH MY PRAISE GOD

Upon arrival to Newfoundland we met Clifford to begin the final drive to camp. That evening we checked our rifles, had a good meal and got to know all the guides and hunters in camp.
